Taekidokai is a true Martial Art. It is known for it’s dramatic flying and spinning kicks, holds, throws and locks. The name is derived from Japanese and means “Way of the body and spirit”

Choose Your Class

Junior

TKMA Junior classes for kids are high energy and fun filled. Given our friendly and encouraging learning environment, your child will be comfortable and assured, learning at their own pace, whilst staying active and keeping fit.

Senior

TKMA Senior classes for Adult and Teens will have a mix of beginners and more advanced students, each doing your own particular level of techniques. We follow a graded system, you’ll start as a white belt and learn the basic techniques you need to progress.

Family

TKMA Family classes are for the whole family. What better way to unite the family than doing and learning together, helping and growing together. Setting goals and achieving them as a family.

Taekidokai is a professionally run Martial Art school. Developed by Sensei Rodney Day, founder and 7th dan black belt with over 45 years of Martial Arts experience, with a background in Budokan Karate, Goshinryu, Hapshinrya, Taekwondo and Aikido, Sensei teaches throughout Australia and New Zealand, passing on his unique understanding of Taekido to instructors and students.
